DAY 6 AND 7Headed to chengde. 4 hours plus ride. Slept AGAIN. Haha. Well, after 2 hours, we got down for toilet break. Plus the driver was getting sleepy. Haha. Then at that place we saw a HUGE Alsatian. It kept on barking and the tourguide actually went near it la. Haha. Reached at 6 plus. Had dinner then headed to the hotel. Quite good I must say. Then in the morning, I was kinda sleepy and well, just stoned there until everyone was down. Haha. Went to the summer palace after breakfast. Really cold. Cause it was sub zero. Ah, but I managed it after all. Had lunch then we headed back to Beijing. SLEPT AS USUAL. But I took some pictures of the scenery there. It’s just tooo nice la. The mountains and stuffs. Haha. And also platations. I bet geog teachers will be too happy to see them. But it will be better if they were rice plantations. Haha. Oh well, gone for a massage at the Olympics stadium. Haha. Had to soak our feet again in hot water. Haha. I didn’t dare la. Cause it’s soooo hot. But well, still did in the end, when it was a little cooler. Then the massagers came in. haha. She realized that I got an in grown toenail and the massager for my mum called in a doctor. Sth like that. And he got rid of the nail that was stuck inside my toe. Was a little pain when he removed it. But soon it became very comfortable. We had to buy medicine bags to soak our feet. Haha. We are the only family again lor. AT TONG REN TANG ALSO LIKE THAT, my dad bought one year’s supply of Chinese medicine for high blood, my mum bought three months. Haha. And now, we are buying again. Hehe. My medicine bag is for 1½ months. So ya. Gotta soak soak soak. Oh well, for the sake of my toe, I shall. Haha. Then headed to this yunnan restaurant for dinner. Haha. Had a yunnan folk dance performance. Haha. And I spotted one dancers who looked somewhat like Joo Ji Hoon. Hahahaha. Tall and skinny. Haha. The hairstyle also almost the same. Oh my tian. Then when I told my mum, she was like, where where? Haha. As usual, she didn’t managed to see, cause the performance ended. Haha. So while the tour guide went to pay up and contact the bus driver, we were brought to this jeweler shop in the restaurant. Haha. And the owner is from Singapore also. Hehe. But he left Singapore at the age of 3 cause his dad gambled the family’s fortune away. He was lucky to find a gemstone mine at chiangmai though. So he became rich. Haha. He speaks rather funnily. Cause of his thai accent. Haha. Don’t know whether he wants to speak Chinese for hokkien. Haha. He pronounces xin jia po as xin ga po. Haha. Then yu lang became yu nang. No one caught what he was saying but I guessed it was jurong cause he mention wenli that was boon lay. Haha. And clementi. Haha, then ah meng in Chinese is ah ming, everyone got it except for this lady who still looked so blur. Haha. We all didn’t know he meant ah meng until he said dong wu yuan. Hahahahaha. And that lady still looked blur. So I was thought of doing a monkey action to her telling her it’s ah meng. But thinking abt it, it seemed to be quite rude. Haha. So well, left and went to the hotel. We were supposed to go back to jing guang hotel but the tour guide made a mistake. Haha. We went to Beijing international hotel instead. Haha. Then when she wanted to check us in, the reception said that our names did not appear in their system. So she called the office and then they said it was jing guang. So it was moving luggage time AGAIN! First was from the bus to the hotel lobby and now back to the bus again. Hahaha. Ah. Did another round of repacking when we were back in the hotel. Hehe. This time a real good one. Haha.

DAY 5
Went to tianjin. Was a long journey so I slept throughout. Practically I slept whenever I was on the bus la. Haha. Don’t expect me to listen to the tourguide. .at tianjin, went to a street much like taiwan’s ximending. Bought vcds!! Finally. But my full house vcd has got some problems. They speak in Chinese and then suddenly Cantonese and back to Chinese. It keeps on changing. had lunch before we went shopping again. Haha. After that, we headed back to Beijing. Haha. Reached the hotel early to pack cause we were checking out to go chengde and stay for a night. Haha.

DAY 4Went to tian tan. A park where many old people go and exercise. Was even more foggy than the day before. Haha. And because of the fog last night, the bus driver told us that there might be snow the next day. And the guide added that if it didn’t snow, the driver shall not get his tips. LOL. Kinda funny when they were arguing. Haha. Didn’t snow but well, the bus driver got sooo worried that when a car drove past, he quickly pointed out and said that there is snow on the top of the car. Haha. Well, it’s water that is frozen la. Haha. But at the tian tan, because the weather was rather foggy, the dew on the plants turned ice but is frost la. Haha. I kept playing with it until my hands got very frozen. So much so that it hurt a lot. Haha. Oh well, snapped snapped pictures before heading for the ming tomb. Hehe. Then because the emperor was buried with much treasures, my dad joked that we should come back at night to dig for it. Like so lame la. When there are security 24/7 with cameras arnd that place also. Haha. Then at night we went to the underground great wall. Everyone did not hear of it before la. It’s like so wow. Also can link to many places. But we only walked a bit. Cause it’s too long. Haha. Can get lost if you don’t follow closely. But well, the temperature there is quite alright. Stays at 17 degrees according to the guide there. Hehe. She’s kinda funny. Cause she said with this underground tunnel, it’s an advantage cause we can go into the forbidden city for free. Don’t need to pay entrance fee. Haha. That’s when you know which path to take.

DAY 3
went to yiheyuan. was REALLY HUGE! haha, and it was quite foggy that day so the weather was really cold. and that means your skin gets REAL dry and your mucus just flows out of your nose without you realising it. haha. sounds yucky ya? after that we went tiananmen square. haha, IT'S JUST SO SO SO SO HUGE LA. then got one big big mao ze dong's oil painting there. At the entrance to the forbidden city. but on the way there, we saw this pitiful old man there bleeding la. at the underpass. then nobody did anything. just walked pass. i mean, his head was bleeding and then the tourguide said that the police would do sth abt it but all we saw was, the police standing there doing nothing, alamak. oh well, the palace was like so WOW. was bigger than i expected. but well, much was under contruction cause they are improving for the Olympics in 2008. haish. did much walking at that place. hehe. lunch was ok. Went to spa at night. Had a CULTURE SHOCK can?!?! Imagine walking in to the changing room seeing women walking about NAKED. It’s nothing to them, but sth GREAT to we Singaporeans. Haha. So well, I was joking with the group that we should wash our eyes when we return to the hotel. Haha. It would be better if we had optrex. LOL. Because we didn’t want to buy swimming costumes, we wore their so- called uniform, where we were able to just soak our legs inside. Haha. So ya, after abt an hour or so, we went to change and headed for dinner upstairs. Haha. Then hada show by Russians. The Russian females are just sooo WOW. Tall and pretty la. But then the tourguide says that after they give birth, they lose their figure. Cause of the things they eat. Oh well. went to wang fu jing after that. haha. it's somewhat like our orchard road just that there's a small street selling their xiao chi. and i took a shot of what the beijing people ate. haha. you can never guess. STARFISHES AND COCOONS AND HORNETS! my bro tried grasshoppers the other time he went with his school but we didnt see it. haha. Whatever

DAY 2
climbed the great wall. quite a feat cause the part we climbed was VERY steep. haha. then we went to have lunch. quite tired but oh well, WE CLIMBED THE GREAT WALL!! hahaha. k i am lame. hehe. went to this place that makes vase after lunch. haha. super nice can? that's where we had lunch the same place. haha. i bought an owl keychain that was believed to help keep away evil. haha. but well, it is spoiled cause my dad used it cause his jacket zip had spoiled and then he needs sth to hooked on to zip up and down. so ya. he used until the whole owl dropped out from the keychain. hai.

DAY ONE
was actually a freeday for us because we had to wait for those who took air china. haha. they flew in the morning while we flew SQ midnight flight. haha. then at the hotel, we left our baggage at the concierge and went walking arnd that place. had KFC since my dad was hungry. and guess what? their spokeperson was lin dan! hahahaha. then i was making fun that he must be eating too much KFC that's why he lost to taufik of indonesia during the asian games badminton men finals. hehe. alright. i was quite bad. haha. then walked and walked, and after that, we had nothin to do so we went back to the hotel lobby and rotted there. haha. until 3 plus when the guide picked us up and went to fetched the rest where the tour began. haha.had dinner but before that, we took a trishaw ride to the place. hehe. then we had to walk in the cold to the restaurant. as it was located at some park thing. called 北海道 sth. haha. quite a nice place. and i saw the frozen lake. haha. took a picture of it but wasnt clear so i deleted it. hehe. oh yes, after dinner, the tour guide forgotten to pay for the dinner. haha. so we walked to the entrance to wait for her before going back to the hotel to rest. haha. that's one day gone. LOL. day two next post. too lazy to type cause that's the DAY we climbed the great wall. haha. much things happened so that will be a later post.

FINALLY! i am back from peking! hahaha. must say that's a super good place to shop shop shop!! hahaha. and the pepsi there has got rain's picture. hehe. grabbed one when i saw it at the convenience store on teh last day. haha. still planning whether to sell it or keep it. probably keep it. since it will be like abt another year or so before i get my feet onto china's soil again. sadly, didnt get to see snow, but we experienced the di wu ji wind. meaning the 5th grade wind, haha. super strong. my bottle and hat almost flew away. hahaha! oh well, grabbed my hat on super tightly. ha! a more detailed post soon with pictures. hehe! didnt get to buy any toys though. but i got one small cute little cow from the SQ stewardess. haha, she just asked whether i wanted a souvenir. obviously i wanted. been eyeing it since the flight there. only ytd night did i get my cow. haha. so with that cow, i got quite entertained besides the games and the korean movies. slept a little only. after the 4am plus brreakfast. haha, then when my breakfast was served i placed the cow on a clean plate and my dad asked if i was going to eat it up. hahahaha! my parents were lame during the trip. dinner and then i shall go sleep.

feeling refreshed from the nap just now, i am so ready for the 1.20am flight tml. hahaha. leaving tonight. haish. that means i am missing an episode of triumph in the skies. boohoo. but nevermind, i already planned to play the whole six hours on board the plane. haha. with my funny leg giraffe that bro gave me for my birthday present last year. haha. bet he's having a great time in taiwan now. ha! been slacking for the past 2 days. dunno why. mum nvr give me any work so dont do lor! haha. just go gym come back bathe get ready for tuition and then watch video and read some books. how slack a like can i lead. oh well, a short one before i shall abandon this blog for 8 days. hehe.

bro's off in taiwan now. lucky him. haha. mum got a little weird today. kept on laughing over nothing. haha. so dad and i kept on teasing her until she stopped. hehe. 2 more days and i am off to china. weets~ midnight flight. i shall nap in the afternoon and then dont sleep on board the plane. haha. if 3 of us sit in the same row, i shall play daidi till i die. hahaha. on the plane of course. and a little different from previous trips, i get to hold some money alr!! yay! get the leftover money from my wuhan trip. mum dont want give me more. haish. like that i go off without her. and get lost there. oh well, all those girls from my bro's skl going to taiwan all soooo short!! wear court shoes still shorter than me. wahahaha. then mum and i kept on talking abt actors height from then. haha, first time can?!?! my mum spoke to me abt entertainment stuff. woohoo!~my mum's changing!! yay. uh huh uh huh. less boring naggings. wahaha. may go out later to find heat packs. now that it has started snowing in beijing and the weather's like -5?? haha. off to library to return bro's books and also see what's new in tm. FOR A SHORT WHILE. cause mum also going out. to airport. haish. off youtube-ing.

weets!~ flying on fridy night!! really high now. haha. although it's like another four days. decided to give cloud stairways a miss. since that i have known the ending. and i am currently hooked onto full house. I KNOW I AM LAGGING. THAT IS A 2004 PRODUCTION AND I AM ONLY WATCHING IT IN 2006. WHATEVER. mum and i took only three days to complete the whole show. haha! broke record. usually 16 episodes take at least 5 days. hehe. partly because i didnt wait for her on friday when she went down to aunt's place to cook. rushed through dinner to make sure my dad did not use the comp. hiak hiak hiak. fine. today only did 1 hr of a math. supposed to do another hour in the afternoon. but i was slacking away after lunch. then had corn for teabreak and watched doha badminton. must say that XAY's real good for a 17 year old can?! haha. she's just soo....great! didnt complete the whole thing though. cause my mum came home with you weekly in her hand. and i rushedto get it cause lu jun's on the cover! hahahahaha. kk. i have gong's withdrawal symptoms. haha. ROARS. friday just come earlier. tuition tml at 7.30. means i gotta miss dinner with mum's family. heard that one of my uncle's striked lottery. hai, really want to have my cereal prawns. but well, dont think i will be eating too cause i have a enormous ulcer on my lower lip. between the lip and gum. makes eating a tedious chore. hai. gym tml too. then i think i'm going out with mum to get stuffs for my bro to bring to taiwan for the host family. guess what? he says he's bringing rou gu cha's spices. when most taiwanese dot take spicy food. haha. whatever.

dum de dum. got back frm ms chin's wedding. had to run all the way home cause we were released frm guitar late. haha. whatever. off to china soon. yay! i hope to see snow. haha. slept on director's chair for five minute while watching full house with my mum just now. haha. kk. i know i am LKK. BUT WHAT TO DO? HAHA. dinner time soon. jian dao shi you bu doesnt seem to appeal toi my mum now. casue there's full house. and she likes it. haha. i beg to differ. both full house and njian dao shi tou bu appeals to me. haha, which show doesnt? LOL. there's still my wei qi xiang in jian dao shi tou bu and the nice storyline of full house. haha.AZA AZA FIGHTING! K THAT WAS RANDOM. roar. late nights for me these few days cause i cant get to sleep. only ytd. forced to sleep at 11 cause i had to go to skl for guitar at 8.30. that means i will have to wake up at 7 to be on time. haha. luckily next week no more! cause i will be in beijing, china! yay! i hope to see snow. haha. dinner time then it will be fullhouse again.
